Simply Education work in partnership with multiple SEN and SEMH Schools in Bolton. We are looking for Teaching Assistants (Trained & Un-Trained) for long term vacancies on a temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for teaching assistants that are passionate and determined to make a difference in our young people’s lives. You may be required to work on a 1:1 basis, or within a small class of around 5 or 6 students with a variety of additional needs including ADHD or Autism. We can provide full FREE 2 day teaching assistant courses and also offer training tools & SEND Specific CPD sessions to ensure you have all the tools to be successful in your new role.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

• Hold recent experience working with children, inside or outside of a classroom environment (SEND experience also beneficial additional experience, but not essential).

• Promote being a positive role model for our students

• Can quickly build rapport with colleagues and students.

• Can close the gap in performance of all pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.

Your consultant will be in touch with you to arrange the next steps in the recruitment process to become a Learning Mentor. All successful applicants will be required to attend an interview, undergo relevant safeguarding checks, complete an application form with a full 10 year history, 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional pending the completion of all relevant checks.
