My consultant first contacted me by sending out his ‘Friday riddles’, light hearted and really good fun. Despite knowing that the nature of my school means that we need very little agency cover over the course of a year, he visited and spent a whole afternoon with us. What impressed me at the time and has continued to impress over the last few months was instead of hard sell, which as I said before would have guaranteed it would have been the last conversation I had with him, he listened and really understood my requirements for my school and the nature of my school.
The result of this has been, when we have needed supply cover, we have been sent high quality members of staff, who were ready to step in from the start. When it came to recruiting staff for September, he spent time seeking the right people to join us. I now have two, and I am hopeful after half term three, amazing members of staff, who have joined my team seamlessly. They all speak equally highly of the way they were supported by him in finding a new position too. In my experience, My consultants attention to detail, patience and professionalism are rare. Agencies that I have worked with in the past have almost always seemed concerned only with their fees. This is usually a disaster for both the individual teacher and the school they are sent to.
It says a lot about Simply Education as a company that you clearly encourage your staff to work in a more holistic way. Every member of staff I have spoken to, including your finance team have been helpful, supportive and nothing has been too much trouble. It is very much appreciated.
