Simply Education are working with a secondary school in Sittingbourne to recruit a brand-new English teacher to join their team in September 2024. This is a full-time position and will include teaching English literature and language to KS3, 4 and 5 students, including planning and marking. Successful candidates will have excellent knowledge of the British National Curriculum, and although experience is preferable, the school are happy to consider ECTs, providing they check all other boxes.
The school itself recently received a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, and are keen to push forward to improve that rating to an outstanding. The school are consistently involved in helping local charities and have an excellent culture, so they are looking for someone who can come in and embrace the school ethos.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong classroom management skills.
• Has recent experience teaching English.
• Has excellent knowledge of KS3, KS4 and KS5 Curriculum.
• Can promote cultural development.
• Has great communication and lesson delivery skills.
• Can prepare lesson plans.
