Are you an experienced ICT Instructor with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of young people? Simply Education is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity to join a specialist setting in the Sleaford area, dedicated to providing top-tier care and education to students with diverse social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role:

As an ICT Instructor in this specialist setting, you will be working with students aged 12-18 who demonstrate challenging behaviour. Your primary focus will be on fostering motivation, boosting self-esteem, nurturing positive relationships between students and staff, and enhancing overall behaviour within the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging ICT lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH requirements.

Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop individualized learning plans and interventions.

Provide ongoing support and encouragement to students to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with challenging behaviour within an educational setting is essential.

Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and the ability to apply them effectively.

Passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of young people.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
