Job Description: We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a highly-rated local school in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons that inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Teach a range of Science disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, at secondary level.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and supported in their learning.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and school-wide initiatives.
Participate in extracurricular activities and Science-related events to enhance the educational experience of students.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialism in Science or related subject area.
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a track record of student achievement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Passion for Science education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young people.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the school.
