We are looking for Teaching assistants who are looking to gain experience in Educational Psychology! Simply Education is working with a number of schools who understand the links between education and psychology are a large proportion of the job role to support their students. As a Teaching Assistant you often go above and beyond to support children with SEN needs to ensure they are accessing the environment and mental health & Wellbeing support.

As a Teaching assistant for Education Psychology, you will see how different therapies are offered to students to support a range of needs. You will get the opportunity to observe different strategies for support. Within the Teaching Assistant for Educational Psychology role, you may have some access to the therapy team, you may be asked to support individuals in these lessons or even repeat the session in a classroom setting!

As our new Teaching Assistant for Educational Psychology you will be:

Provide 1:1 assistance to neurodiverse and physically disabled students

Help teachers adapt lessons for diverse learning needs

Implement interventions to support development

Track student progress and identify growth areas

Develop your understanding of learning disabilities

Bring your drive to help children thrive and a willingness to learn.

Salary : £90 - 110 a day

Contract : Daily Cover / Long Term Roles Available

Hours : 8:30 till 4:30 - Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will be required to:

Subject to two years of satisfactory references

An Enhanced DBS check
