About Us: Simply Education is proud to partner with a welcoming and inclusive school in Stoke-on-Trent, dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join the school's supportive team on a full-time basis, starting in September.

Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Stoke-on-Trent. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the inclusion and academic progress of students with special educational needs and disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding and supportive environment, where you will make a real difference in the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Assist classroom teachers in implementing EHCPs and adapting teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

Support students with academic tasks, social skills development, and emotional well-being.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development.
