Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School, Coventry
Simply Education is looking to appoint a dedicated learning support assistant to provide classroom and pupil support at a secondary school in Coventry. You will assist teachers in creating a productive learning environment for students of all abilities and ages.
We require:
• Prior experience working with secondary aged pupils as a teaching/learning support assistant
• Educated to A-Level standard
• A passion for nurturing children’s education
• Aspires to become a qualified teacher
• Clear DBS check on the update service
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting teachers to deliver lesson plans and activities
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils who require extra help
• Encouraging student engagement and achievement
• Assisting with classroom management and supervision
This is a term-time temporary position, paying £90 per day. Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm.
